**NEW** GUATEMALA Finca Pampojila

Finca Pampojilá, a historic Guatemalan farm founded in the 1850s by Manuel and Monica Diaz, has received numerous national awards throughout its history. In 2010, after sustaining damage from tropical storm Agatha, the Diaz family sold the farm to Agropecuaria Atitlán. This transition spurred a period of rejuvenation, including the cultivation of new varieties and the development of infrastructure to support innovative processing techniques, leading to the farm's current thriving state. Finca Pampojilá is also a member of the Association of Private Natural Reserves of Guatemala, dedicating 50% of its area to remain as natural tropical forest.

The Anacafe 14 coffee variety has an interesting origin story, emerging as a naturally occurring hybrid rather than a deliberately engineered cross. It is the result of a spontaneous genetic combination between two distinct coffee types: Pacamara and a Catimor-type coffee. This discovery was made in the Chiqimula department of Guatemala in 1980 and officially released to the public by ANACAFÉ (Asociación Nacional del Café) in 2014.
