I’m not so sure this is an actual Pop-Up -more of a collaboration. One of the giants of the food truck world is throwing down some food at our spot this coming Saturday. What is particularly exciting about this event is their incorporation of our coffee in a dish (Adado Kyoto brewed) and the liberal use of ‘coffee oils and essences’ in other dishes. So it’s really more like a Reese Peanut Butter cup -a combination of coffee and food that results in an awesome gestalt of flavor (or flavor gestalt?). In addition to this palate shredding and lid flipping happening; we’re actually going to open our coffee green space -a space for communing with nature (on a teeny tiny scale) and deep cup contemplation (hands off the pears!). The weather is suppose to be in the low 80’s and sunny. We’ll also be introducing our ‘Adado Piva’ drink -it’s a play on the classic Arnold Palmer (iced tea and lemonade) but instead it’s our Adado Yirgacheffe Ethiopia toddy with Kalamansi (Filipino lime).
