**NEW** BOLIVIA Apolo

This coffee comes to us from the APCA Cooperative in La Paz, Bolivia. Asociación de Productores de Café de Apolo, or APCA for short, represents the small village of Apolo, which lies between the eastern slopes of the Andes and the Amazon Basin. APCA works with smallholder farmers in the village to provide access to specialty markets, training and education programs, and funding for processing infrastructure which directly contribute to the quality of each lot. Apolo’s close proximity to Madidi National Park creates a unique and rich biodiveristy wherein the coffee farmer and native wildlife benefit from each other. Coffee is grown beneath diverse shade canopies that help maintain wildlife habitat while supporting healthy soils and resilient farming systems. 

This coffee feels right at home with the coming fall season. The cup opens with a bright sweet note of golden raisin, followed by black tea and warm pie spice notes that speak to cooler days ahead. Hidden amongst those notes is a subtle hint of orange citrus similar to clementine, but perhaps a bit more tart.
