The Andrade Ochoa family established the Majorelle farm, located in the Ecuadorian Amazon in 2016 taking over land that had been depleted through mono-cropping. Adding native shrubs and trees, allowed for better biodiversity in the ecosystem and created a better environment for growing specialty coffee.

Pacamara is a hybrid variety created from a Pacas variety (El Salvadoran mutation of Bourbon) and the Maragogype. Almost all Pacamara varieties will have larger cherries than is typical resulting in visibly larger coffee beans in your bag.

The nearby Cayambe-Coca natural reserve, home to Reventador, an active stratovolcano, is the largest protected area with the biggest plant and animal diversity in Ecuador. The weather, elevation, volcanic soil and biodiversity of the land contributes to making this a high quality cup.
