KENYA Karinga

The Karinga Mill was established in 1983 and supports coffee grown in the surrounding Kimaruri, Kariungu, Gachuhua and Mugalwa villages. This region is located amongst a high density of tea-growing estates. The Karinga Mill supports approximately 650 members or farms. The soil in this region is a rich red volcanic soil and the region has excellent rainfall and drainage.
